What absorbed you when you were in kindergarten?

What were your favorite things to play with at that age? Did you like to build with Legos or Lincoln Logs? Were you a finger painter? Did you love running around outside? 

What was your favorite time of day? Favorite season of the year? Favorite color? 

Sometimes, we take our writing Very Seriously. 

When what’s really needed is some play time. 

This week, I invite you to loosen up, mess around, get dirty… and actually do an activity you loved in kindergarten.

(Yes - it can be nap time.)

Sing silly songs, draw a stick figure picture, play a pretend game outside… the sky’s the limit. 

Have fun and be silly.
