🔌unplug

By the time you read this, I will be camping and will not have touched an electronic device in seven days.

This is my third year unplugging completely for a full week, and that plus being outside most of the time does something amazing to my nervous system.

I’m WAY calmer and less reactive.

I move slower and am in less of a hurry.

I notice things more deeply: funny things my daughter says, the slant of light through the trees, the quiet and also the noise of being outdoors.

I’m sillier, more relaxed, and more fun.

This is the fertile soil in which creativity thrives.

How can you unplug for an hour, a day, or a week in the next days or months?

(Ask yourself how - not if - and watch your brain create solutions.)

Happy unplugging.
