✨ the thing that’s missing from other writing programs
Let’s be honest… many if not most writing courses, classes, conferences and workshops focus on one thing: writing craft.
Craft is an essential element to the writing life, and to your book.
But it’s not the only element.
In all my work, but particularly in my Writing Brave Mastermind, we go deep on all four elements of a well-rounded creative life: intuition, practice, mindset and craft.
Intuition: the wild, deep river of creativity from which all ideas come. In the Writing Brave Mastermind, we deepen the skill of tapping into that river of creativity and listening to the wisdom of the spirit of your book. We listen to what wants to be written.
Practice: the actual routine of sitting down to write. In the Writing Brave Mastermind, we create a writing practice that feels delicious, easeful, and fits into the season of life we’re living.
Mindset: how you talk to yourself, think about yourself, and see yourself and your writing.
Craft: how you write, how to say what you want to say, how to structure your book, and how to hone your prose.
We need all four.
If you’ve ever taken a class or workshop and been turned off by how logical / formulaic / or structured it was, and you’ve wondered what was wrong with you, the answer is NOTHING.
You’re simply an intuitive writer.
Let’s reclaim that wildness and the power that goes with it.
