Need help writing a book proposal?

Okay, time for real talk:

A lot of my clients end up wanting or needing to write a book proposal. (If you’re writing nonfiction and want to land a traditional book deal, it’s pretty much a requirement.)

And while I have some resources for writing a book proposal in my Published course, I’ve always been clear that I am NOT an expert on book proposals.

They’re simply not in my wheelhouse. I’ve never written one and I’ve never coached on one. They’re a very specific skillset.

LUCKY FOR YOU, I recently met Chad Allen.

Chad is a longtime publishing insider (he was an acquiring editor at a traditional publisher for 20+ years), and when I asked a group of my colleagues for a book proposal expert, his name came up over and over.

Y’all know I don’t just share anyone with my community! Rest assured that in addition to being an expert, Chad is also a really great guy - we met to network and instantly connected and decided to collaborate.

Chad has put together a book proposal template that makes the process of writing a proposal as simple and straightforward as possible.

If you’re writing nonfiction (a memoir, personal development book, inspirational book, or anything else that ISN’T fiction), and you want a traditional book deal, you need a strong proposal. (Before the book is even written!)

Happy proposal writing.
